Itineraries
Tour 1: Etosha and Erindi
Day1: A personal welcome and pick-up at Hosea Kutako International Airport, Windhoek, Namibia. Shopping and lunch in the capital, Windhoek. Sleep off the jet lag at a private game farm on our way to Etosha National Park. Sit under a starlight sky around an open wood fire and enjoy the tranquility of the African bush. Enjoy a traditional ‘braai’(barbeque).
Day 2: About a 3-hour drive to Kifaru Rhino Sanctuary near Etosha. The lodge has a beautiful setting, perched on a hill with a majestic view over the farm. Get great photographic opportunities of the endangered white rhino, getting very close on an afternoon game drive. Also have the opportunity to see a number of rhinos together. Enjoy an African sunset while sipping on a desired choice of drinks, ending the evening with a five star dinner.
Day 3: Morning game drive or /and ‘hide’ photography in Kifaru. Lunch at the infinty pool. Then a 2-hour drive to Etosha National Park, a pristine wilderness with abundant animal life in their natural environment. On the afternoon game drive we visit waterholes to capture animals in the golden afternoon light. In the early evening we try our luck at the famous floodlit waterhole at Okaukeujo, where we also overnight.
Day 4: Predawn coffee and biscuits. On the morning drive, starting at sunrise we will visit a number of waterholes and have great views over the scenic Etosha pans. Breakfast. We will then drive through the park to our next camp, Namutoni. Lunch. Afternoon drive to the waterholes around Namutoni.
Day 5: Another day at Namutoni Rest Camp. Day 5 offers plenty of photographic opportunities during the morning and afternoon game drives. Lunch at Makuti Lodge, ouside the park.
Day 6: Another day for beautiful images. See the animals cross the vast pans of Etosha or capture them at the waterholes. Check-in at lunchtime at the newly constructed and amazing King Nehale Lodge just outside of Etosha.
Day 7: A morning game drive on the vast Andoni savannahs in Etosha. Check-in at lunchtime at Onguma Private Game reserve on the eastern side of the Etosha Park. At around 16h00 we go to the state-of-the-art photographic hide to photograph animals coming to drink as the sun sets.
Day 8: Early morning session at the same hide. Enjoy breakfast before leaving Onguma for the world famous Erindi Private Reserve on our way back to Windhoek. We stay at the Old Traders Lodge in Erindi. There we will stay in extreme comfort while enjoying the abundant wildlife Erindi has to offer. We look for cheetahs, wild dogs and the elusive leopard.
Day 9: Another exciting day at Erindi with loads of photographic opportunities. We will go on a morning and afternoon drive with an experienced local guide. Meals will be served on the patio while you have a great view of the waterhole full of hippos and crocodiles.
Day 10: Final photographic opportunity during morning drive before we pack up and depart for Windhoek, our final destination, with your camera cards full of amazing wildlife images and your heart full of fond memories. Final drive to the airport where we will wish you “Bon Voyage” onto your next adventure in life, life itself.
